DOG VIRTUAL ADOPTION PROFILES
Hi! My name is Ranger, and I happily spent my life at Merry Angel Animal Rescue. Please take the time to get to know some of my friends who, like I was, are lifetime residents at Merry Angel Animal Rescue. Due to various reasons, we are not "adoptable", but we do appreciate getting sponsors to help us out. Sponsors can choose their friend, or have one randomly picked, and "virtually" adopt us. The sponsor will receive a password for a page dedicated to the individual they adopted, and can check regularly for updates. Virtual Adoption can be for any amount, or length of time, at the Adoptor's discretion. We deeply appreciate your taking time to consider helping us by thinking about virtual adoption. WHAT IS VIRTUAL ADOPTION?
Virtual Adoption is a wonderful concept for both the adoptor, and the adoptees. Perhaps you'd love to adopt an animal, but can't due to one reason, or another... or maybe you'd just like to help an animal out, that can't be physically adopted out due to the abuse it has suffered in the past... virtual adoption is a perfect answer! When you virtually adopt an animal, you can either choose your pet, or have one selected for you at random. You will receive a personalized portrait of your pet, and a password to access a page JUST FOR YOU to check on YOUR virtually adopted animal. This page will be updated weekly, if not more often, including new pics of your pet, and adoption is flexible... you can virtually adopt an animal for a day, a week, month, year, or however long you choose, no matter how long or short time period you adopt your animal for, EVERY day a pet is adopted helps allow us to do even more for animals.

Loco is a neutered male chow mix. He's about 35 lbs, and close to 10 yrs old. He was rescued from an abusive home, where he was kept in a small wire cage he couldn't turn around in. His brother was killed by their previous owners by being thrown in front of a car on the road! Loco is very sweet, and loving, but doesn't take well to people he doesn't know, and will act aggressively. He is not eligible for PHYSICAL adoption, but IS very eligible for virtual adoption. Lolita is a female chow mix. She's about 2 yrs old, and approx. 30lbs. Due to the atrocities she's lived through, she is VERY distrustful of people. She is very sweet, and loving, however, to the 2 people she accepts. She is not adoptable, as from her distrust, she has tried biting those she's not familiar with, and even some she was! Lowboy is a Beagle/Bulldog neutered male crossbreed. He is close to 7 yrs old, and weighs around 40lbs. Lowboy is very afraid of people, and likes to hide under a skirt and peek out to see if he's safe! He is very non-aggressive, but instead will run and hide, and hurt himself trying to escape someone he doesn't know. Lowboy will continue his skirt-hiding life here at Merry Angel Farm. Roadie2 is a female bird dog cross. She's close to 3 yrs old, and weighs around 45lbs. She is VERY shy and skittish, rarely allowing anyone to even pet her. She is very sweet, and not aggressive at all, but is unadoptable, due to her behaviours from her mistreated past.
